Vienna has a rich history from being the centre of a huge Empire to a small nation state, moving on to its Nazi past and role in the Cold War Vienna bears the scars of 20th Century events. 

The famous psychologist Carl Rogers once said of Vienna “This is where all the trouble started!”  The city was the birthplace of psychoanalysis and the home of Sigmund Freud.
