Reasons to visit
Language Exchange
The group are split into either either pairs or mini groups for the Language Exchange session. They will be given a list of topics they will talk about e.g. their family, their hobbies, their favourite food. Your students will have three minutes per topic and per language to talk and then a buzzer will sound to signal the end of that period. The group will then move on to the next topic for discussion.
Cultural Talks
The language school's teachers will prepare a talk for the group on an event or a personality famed in the country of the language the group are learning, and the students will then have activities related to the topic.
Language Workshops
During the interactive workshop activity, the students would take part in an activity related to the language where they would be making or doing it in the target language. They would be given the instructions in Spanish, French or German and the teacher would be communicating with them in the target language.
Foreign Film Session
Films would be selected depending on their suitability for the group in terms of the content and from a linguistic point of view. Choose from a selection of both classic and more recent releases.
The students would discuss the film before watching it so they would be familiar with the plot and would also be given level specific worksheets to complete afterwards.
